A method for shooting an object movement trail. The method comprises the following steps: a first shooting terminal shoots an object movement trail; and when an interrupt request is detected during the shooting process, the first shooting terminal sends a shooting request to a second shooting terminal according to the interrupt request, and sends object movement trail data generated by current shooting to the second shooting terminal, so that the second shooting terminal continues shooting and generates an object movement trail image or video. Also disclosed are a terminal for shooting an object movement trail and a system for shooting an object movement trail. Discontinuous shooting function is enabled, thereby avoiding long delays during star trail shooting caused by interruption, and lowering the difficulty in star trail shooting.
