A selling method of a self-service vending machine, comprising: recognizing an identifier with a pre-payment recognition characteristic to obtain a recognition result (101); generating a release signal according to the recognition result, and sending the release signal (102); and releasing goods corresponding to the recognition result according to the release signal (103). The method further comprises: instructing a shipment mechanism to release the goods according to a goods delivery signal. Also provided is a self-service vending machine, comprising a recognition unit (31), a signal unit (32) and a power unit (33). The self-service vending machine and the selling method thereof solve the problem in the prior art that a payment method of an automatic vending machine is limited. |
