A folding and locking mechanism for handlebars of a foldable bicycle comprises a fixing sleeve (11), a fixing piece, pressing blocks (80), an installation base (50), a top pressing piece (40), ejection pins (70) and a drive member. A pressed surface (111) is formed on the inner surface of the fixing sleeve (11). The fixing piece at least comprises a rotary shaft part (23) penetrating the fixing sleeve. An installation gap is formed between the outer surface of the rotary shaft part and the pressed surface. The pressing blocks (80) are positioned in the installation gap and capable of moving along the radial direction of the fixing piece. The installation base (50) is fixedly arranged on the rotary shaft part, and is provided with a plurality of elongated holes (52). The top pressing piece (40) is movably sleeved on the rotary shaft part, and an outer cone surface is formed on the edge of the top pressing piece. One end of each ejection pin (70) is fixed with the corresponding pressing block, and the other end of the ejection pin (70) penetrates out of the corresponding elongated hole to form a pressed part matched with the outer cone surface. The drive member is used for driving the top pressing piece to move along the axis of the rotary shaft part, and a locking member is further arranged between the drive member and the fixing piece. The folding and locking mechanism for handlebars of a foldable bicycle can be used for realizing the locking of the handlebars in a folding state or an unfolding state without great external force. |
