The present invention relates to a device for changing the sound of a musical instrument, comprising at least one element that produces a sound in the event of vibration, said element being attached to a retainer (10), and fastening means on the retainer in order to detachably attach said retainer to the musical instrument. According to the invention, at least one magnet element (12) is provided on the retainer, which magnet element, in conjunction with a metal or magnetic counter element on the musical instrument, makes it possible to fasten the device to the musical instrument. Because of the easily detachable fastening of the device to the musical instrument, a temporary change in the sound can be achieved, because the element (11) that produces sound resonates when a surface, for example of a drum or of a cajón , to which the device is fastened by means of a magnet is struck. Because the device can be easily removed from the musical instrument again at any time, no structural change to the instrument itself results. Nevertheless, the fastening of the device by means of a magnet is sufficiently strong and secure so that the device cannot detach unintentionally. |
