PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel B cell activating factor (BAFF) antagonist for the prevention and treatment of autoimmune disease.SOLUTION: A B cell activating factor receptor antagonist is a fusion protein which is obtained mainly by fusing domain 2 binding BAFF of a TACI receptor to a domain binding BAFF of a Br3 receptor. The fusion protein also fuses to an Fc fragment of IgG1 to be able to obtain a novel fusion protein molecule, has a function of a BAFF antagonist, can treat autoimmune disease, and can provide novel and effective options for the prevention and treatment of autoimmune disease.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
