PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate input device and coordinate input system that can correctly detect input coordinates without providing any cut at a corner part of a light guide plate.SOLUTION: An optical member (40) which guides and emits propagated light, emitted from a reverse side of a light guide plate (10), to an imaging unit (20) is arranged between the light guide plate (10) and the imaging unit (20) in a manner that the optical member (40) is bonded to the light guide plate (10) with an adhesive (41).
