PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of wrinkles of a heating member, which is caused when the heating member is curved.SOLUTION: A fixation unit comprises: a fixation belt that rotates and fixes a toner image on a recording material; a pressure roller that forms, with the fixation belt, a nip part that a recording material holding a toner image passes; and a heater 81 which is obtained by laminating a heating layer 811 that generates heat by electrification, an insulation layer 812 that holds the heating layer 811 therein to electrically insulate the heating layer 811, a first metal layer 813 that is provided on the insulation layer 812, diffuses the heat from the heating layer 811, and conducts the heat to the fixation belt, and a second metal layer 814 that is provided on the insulation layer 812 on the opposite side of the first metal layer 813 and diffuses the heat from the heating layer 811, and which curves along an inner peripheral surface of the fixation belt. In the heater 81, at least one of the first metal layer 813 and the second metal layer 814 has a slit 851 extending in the shaft direction of the fixation belt formed therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
