PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an air bag for a front passenger seat, which, when a passenger in a front passenger seat is restricted in the event of oblique collision in the direction of a driver seat or fine lap collision, is capable of restricting rotation of the head part of the passenger.SOLUTION: An air bag device 10 for a front passenger seat comprises: an air bag 26 for the front passenger seat, which is expanded and inflated in front of the front passenger seat as a result of having been supplied with gas and which forms a head part contact face 30H in a vehicle backward direction and in an upper part in a vehicle vertical direction in the expanded and inflated state; and a center air bag 28, which is formed integrally with the air bag 26 for the front passenger seat 26 and which is expanded and inflated on the middle side in a vehicle width direction in relation to the air bag 26 for the front passenger seat as a result of having been supplied with gas. The center air bag 28 has a head part contact face 34 formed further backward in the vehicle than the head part contact face 30H of the air bag 26 for the front passenger seat and oriented in the vehicle backward direction and outward in the vehicle width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
