PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information output apparatus capable of outputting information accurately representing deterioration of solder connecting a switching element.SOLUTION: An information output apparatus includes: a first switching element connected, via solder, onto a board cooled by a coolant; a second switching element serially connected to the first switching element; a smoothing capacitor; measurement means for measuring a temperature of the first switching element; an application part for applying two or more pulses continuously to the first and second switching elements, the pulses for simultaneously turning on the first and second switching elements in a state where a voltage difference between two terminals of the smoothing capacitor is equal to or more than a given value; an adjustment part, realized by a process part, for adjusting a pulse width of the pulse so that a temperature difference on the first switching element between before and after the two or more pulses are applied is equal to or more than a given temperature; and an output part for outputting information representing a deterioration state of the solder on the basis of a change mode of the measurement value of the measurement means at the application of the two or more pulses with the pulse width adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
