The present invention relates to the field of communications. Embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing method, apparatus, and system, which solve the problem of negotiating an algorithm supported by a terminal with an algorithm supported by a second device. The method comprises: during an EAP-AKA' process, a first device, a second device or a terminal acquires an algorithm identifier of an algorithm supported by the terminal and an algorithm identifier of an algorithm supported by the second device; select a first algorithm, the first algorithm being an algorithm satisfying the condition that the algorithm supported by the second device is identical to the algorithm supported by the terminal; and the second device and the terminal acquire an algorithm identifier corresponding to the first algorithm. The data processing method, apparatus, and system provided by the embodiments of the present invention are used by the first device, the second device or the terminal to negotiate the algorithm supported by the terminal with the algorithm supported by the second device. |
