A method and apparatus for editing audio files. The method comprising: displaying the duration of an audio file to be edited on a display interface of a terminal, and displaying the lyrics of the audio file to be edited corresponding to a preset editing duration onto the display interface of the terminal (S101); adjusting the editing duration according to a starting moment and/or an ending moment input by a user, and displaying the lyrics corresponding to the editing duration onto the display interface of the terminal (S102); and when the user determines the starting moment and the ending moment of final editing, obtaining an audio file corresponding to the editing duration formed by the starting moment and the ending moment (S103).
