The present invention pertains to the technological field of electric household appliances and relates to a system and method for managing the supply of tanks for electric household appliances, in particular apparatuses for automatically preparing instant beverages, developed to provide a more efficient and optimised operation and use than those obtained with similar known apparatuses, since it relies on readings of various parameters such as (i) carbon dioxide availability and (ii) water temperature in the tank.
