The present invention relates to a casting roll of a twin-roll type strip continuous casting device. In the casting roll of the twin-roll type strip continuous casting device wherein a plurality of fine grooves are formed on a surface, the fine grooves in an edge part in a widthwise direction of the casting roll have a cross section of an inverted triangle shape such that coagulation shell is able to easily be released from the fine grooves even though the coagulation shell is inserted into the fine groove. Accordingly, the casting roll of a twin-roll type strip continuous casting device is capable of preventing surface defects of the casted piece, fundamentally improving a product quality and a yielding percentage. |
