METHOD OF DYEING POLYKETONE FIBER

A method for dyeing a polyketone fiber according to the present invention comprises the steps of: (i) dipping a polyketone fiber in a dyebath including 2-4% o.w.f of a disperse dye, 1-3 g/l of a dispersant, and 0.5-1.5 g/l of a leveling agent at a liquor ratio of 1:30; (ii) increasing the temperature of the dyebath, in which the polyketone fiber is dipped, to 125-135°C at a speed of 2.5°C per minute and dyeing the polyketone fiber for 40 minutes in the dyebath whose temperature is increased to 125-135°C; (iii) decreasing the temperature of the dyebath, which has completed the dyeing step, to 80°C at a speed of 2.5°C per minute and putting 1-3 g/l of hydrosulfite and 0.5-1.5 g/l of sodium hydroxide in the dyebath to reduce the polyketone fiber; and (iv) acidifying the reduced polyketone fiber using a glacial acetic acid solution with a pH of 4.2-4.7. The method of the present invention can dye a polyketone fiber in various colors and particularly can dye the polyketone fiber with a disperse dye to prevent the deterioration of elongation of the fiber and achieve high light fastness after dyeing.
