Disclosed is a method for controlling an auto-tracking antenna by the present invention. The method for controlling the auto-tracking antenna according to the present invention includes the steps of: calculating a beam angle of the tracking antenna according to a position of a tracked target by tracking the position of the target using a signal received from the target to be tracked; checking whether the calculated beam angle of the tracking antenna is within a previously established threshold value; and adjusting a steering direction of the tracking antenna using the corrected beam angle by correcting the beam angle of the tracking antenna calculated according to the target position according to the checking result thereof. The beam angle of the tracking antenna is corrected using a subsidiary tracking unit arranged around the tracking antenna. |
