PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce positional displacement of recording dots with a N-dot cycle, when one-line images in a main scanning direction are separately formed at N times by nozzles arrayed in N lines, using a line head-type recording head in which the nozzles are arrayed across the N lines obliquely in a sub scanning direction.SOLUTION: An image forming device 1 comprises: a line-type recording head 70, in which nozzles are arrayed across N lines obliquely in a sheet conveying direction, which discharges ink separately at N times through the nozzles so as to form one-line images in a main scanning direction orthogonal to the sheet conveying direction; an encoder 32 that detects sheet conveyance speed of a conveying belt 21 that conveys a sheet; and a head control portion that sets a recording cycle for the recording head 70 on the basis of the detected speed value by the encoder 32 corresponding to discharging of ink at the N times by the recording head 70.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
