PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device capable of contacting a peeling member with a pressure member according to the type of a sheet to certainly peel the sheet.SOLUTION: A fixation device 6 comprises: a fixation roller 61 that rotates to convey a sheet P; a pressure roller 62 that pressure-contacts with the fixation roller 61 to press the sheet; a peeling member 63 that fluctuates to contact with or separate from the pressure roller 62 to peel the sheet P from the pressure roller 62; a separation contact mechanism 64 that fluctuates the peeling member 63; and a sheet specification section 66 that specifies the type of the sheet P to be conveyed as a plain sheet or a special sheet. When the sheet specification section 66 specifies the sheet P to be a special sheet, the separation contact mechanism 64 contacts the peeling member 63 with the pressure roller 62 when the tip of the sheet P passes the peeling member 63, while when the sheet specification section 66 specifies the sheet P to be a plain sheet, the separation contact mechanism 64 separates the peeling member 63 from the pressure roller 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
