PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and easy method for producing a useful kinesin inhibitor, and to provide a method for producing various compositions containing a kinesin inhibitor as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana extract extracted from a dried leaf of Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana or a dried leaf and branch of Mentha x piperita L. with 50% ethanol solution, or an active ingredient of Mentha x piperita L. extract has an excellent kinesin-inhibitory action.
