PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a composition confirmation display method that has excellent visibility for multiple exposure synthesis.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus capable of multiple exposure imaging comprises: imaging means; synthesis means that generates a multiple exposure image by synthesizing plural images obtained by the imaging means, by using one of plural prepared synthesis methods; and display means that displays a live view of the multiple exposure image in the multiple exposure imaging. The synthesis means generates a second multiple exposure image for live view display by adding and synthesizing, without adopting a synthesis method designated to generate a first multiple exposure image for recording.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
