The present disclosure provides a lithium-ion battery and an electrolyte thereof. The electrolyte of the lithium-ion battery comprises: a non-aqueous organic solvent; a lithium salt discloved in the non-aqueous organic solvent; and an additive dissolved in the non-aqueous organic solvent. The additive comprises 1,3-dioxo-heterocyclic compound with a structural formula I and fluoroethylene carbonate; in the structural formula I, R1 and R2 each independently are H, methyl or ethyl; n is an integer selected from 1˜3; a weight percentage of 1,3-dioxo-heterocyclic compound with the structural formula I in the electrolyte of the lithium-ion battery is 0.05%˜5%; a weight percentage of fluoroethylene carbonate in the electrolyte of the lithium-ion battery is 1%˜8%. The lithium-ion battery comprises the aforementioned electrolyte of the lithium-ion battery. The lithium-ion battery of the present disclosure has an excellent high temperature storage performance and an excellent low temperature discharge rate performance. |
