A farm blender for mixing dry powder material, e.g. fertiliser, lime, gypsum etc., with water for spreading on an agricultural project, comprising a holding tank with a top hinged lid (1) to enable the powder to be added and for maintenance access, a bracket (2) holding a motor which drives a main drive shaft (3) to which are connected blender pin blades (4) for mixing the powder and water, which is removed from the tank by sludge pump (5) and sprayed onto the agricultural project via outlet (6). FA RM BL UNDER 1. Flange top lid with bracket holder and material entry port. This end is the vertical top of tank. 2. Bracket holder with hydraulic or electric drive motor and support bearings. 3. Main drive shaft with blade attached by clamps. 4. Blender pin blades for mixing product. 5. Sludge pump at base of tank recirculating product to top of tank. 6. Outlet to spray system and cleaning tank controlled by valves. |
