摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a dead zone width T of an output stage of a power element while using an existing circuit without additional circuits.SOLUTION: A motor drive device includes: an inverter which generates an AC voltage from a DC voltage by switching a plurality of power elements; a current detection part for detecting a current to be inputted to a motor; a current control part for generating a voltage command from a current command and a current detection value; a gate driving command generation part for generating driving commands of the plurality of power elements in such a manner that the dead zone width of the output stage that is a period in which both the power elements of an upper arm and a lower arm constituting the output stage of the inverter are turned off, becomes a predetermined dead zone width; a gate drive circuit part which outputs gate drive signals of the plurality of power elements; and a dead zone width estimation part for estimating the dead zone width of the output stage caused by the gate drive signals of the plurality of power elements from a differential between the current command and the current detection value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
