摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus capable of suppressing torque variation while executing rich spike control during an overlap period.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus includes a control part for determining a required value Td of engine torque Te on the basis of a shift model to control the engine torque. Further, the control part performs: setting a torque-down period Pt in which a required value of output torque is temporarily reduced during a shift; executing rich spike control in which to delay ignition timing of the engine so as to recover a catalyzer by setting an air-fuel ratio temporarily at a given rich air-fuel ratio and to acquire the required value of the output torque; executing rich spike control with an intake air volume of the engine set at a given air volume Q1 during an overlap period Pc in which an execution period Pr of the rich spike control and the torque-down period overlap, in the case of the overlap period occurring, where a limit delay angle amount permissible in the case of operating the engine with a given rich air-fuel ratio relative to a given air volume is a delay angle amount γd or more with which the required value of the output torque can be realized during the overlap period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
