Disclosed is a camshaft adjuster (1) comprising a driving element (2), a first output element (3a) and a second output element (3b); the driving element (2) and the two output elements (3a, 3b) all have a plurality of wings (4, 5, 6); the two output elements (3a, 3b) can be braced relative to one another in the peripheral direction (8) using an expansion spring (7) located between the output elements (3a, 3b); only the first output element (3a) is designed in such a way as to be connectible to a camshaft; a locking mechanism (9) can lock the two output elements (3a, 3b) together and unlock same such that the two output elements (3a, 3b) are jointly or separately rotatable relative to the driving element (2); a wing (6) of the second output element (3b) is in contact with a wing (4) of the driving element, and the expansion spring (7) puts a wing (5) of the first output element (3a) at a distance from the wing (4) of the driving element (2), so the first output element (3a) is in an angular position relative to the driving element (2) which lies within the angle adjustment range between the first output element (3a) and the driving element (2). |
