PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device that holds a recording medium having value information recorded therein capable of being exchanged with a game medium and that is suitable for preventing unauthorized utilization of the recording medium.SOLUTION: A game device 1 is characterized by providing a game to be carried out by using a game medium dispensed from a game facility to a game player. The game device includes: a game player authentication unit 25 having a camera 22, and authenticating the game player according to an image obtained by photographing a face of the game player with the camera 22; and a recording medium processing unit 27 for importing a recording medium having value information recorded therein capable of being exchanged with the game medium, updating the value information recorded in the recording medium, and ejecting the recording medium by that the game player authentication unit 25 authenticates the game player.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
