A crane provided with a boom (10) having a structure with a modifiable length; and a raising/lowering apparatus (11) for raising and lowering the boom (10) with respect to a body; wherein the raising/lowering apparatus (11) includes a coupling apparatus (32) for coupling one end of a guy line (30) to a tip part of the boom (10); the tip part (13) of the boom (10) has a rear surface (21) that faces backwards when the boom (10) is raised, and a front surface (22) that faces forward when the boom is raised; the coupling apparatus (32) is provided with a linking part (36) for linking one end of the guy line (30), and a support apparatus (38) provided on the tip part (13) for supporting the linking part (36) so that the linking part (36) is positioned at a position spaced apart from the rear surface (21) of the tip part (13) on a reverse side with respect to the front surface (22); the support apparatus (38) has a holding member (49) for holding the linking part (36); and the holding member (49) allows the position of the linking part to be changed to a plurality of different positions in a first direction perpendicular to the central axis of the boom and the axis of rotation of the boom. |
