This invention consists of a temperature sensor that is inserted into a screw hole in a target container. Said temperature sensor comprises the following: a metal case that has the shape of a closed-bottom tube with an opening; a temperature-sensitive element positioned inside said opening; a terminal, the bottom end of which is connected to the temperature-sensitive element and the top end of which leads toward the outside; and a resin coupler that seals the opening. The terminal leads out from the resin coupler. The metal case has a bottom section in which the temperature-sensitive element is positioned, a threaded section that is provided above the bottom section and engages with the abovementioned screw hole, and a wide section that is wider than the threaded section and is provided thereabove. The circumferential outer surface of the wide section is covered by a resin layer. |
