Disclosed is a no-back mechanism comprising a first and a second cylindrical outer surface (61, 62), at least two radially effective braking elements (7 12), at least one activating component (8) located between the braking elements, at least one input cam (2'), and at least one output cam (13'), said cams (2', 13') acting directly or indirectly on one or both of the braking elements in the circumferential direction during normal operation of the no-back mechanism. During normal operation, the input cam (2') or the output cam (13') is in direct or indirect engagement with both braking elements (7, 12); during an operating mode in which the no-back mechanism is locked, the input cam (2') or the output cam (13') is in direct or indirect engagement with only one or neither of the braking elements (7, 12). |
