The invention relates to a method for a robust data transmission of data packets (DP1, DP2) between a transmitter (SE1, SE2) and at least one receiver (E1, E2). A data packet (DP1, DP2) which consists of a sequence of symbols is retransmitted (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) a specified number of times. In the method according to the invention, a transmitted data packet (DP1, DP2) is interpreted (a) by the at least one receiver (E1, E2), and in the event of a misinterpretation, a retransmission (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) of said data packet (DP1, DP2) is waited upon in order to be interpreted (b). If the retransmission (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) of the data packet (DP1, DP2) can also not be interpreted, the symbols (S11, S21) of the originally received data packet (DP1, DP2) are combined with the symbols (S12, S13, S22) of the retransmission (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) according to a combination rule and analyzed (c) by the receiver (E1, E2). In the event of an erroneous analysis of the combined symbols (K1, K2), either additional retransmissions (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) are received and interpreted or the symbols of the retransmissions are combined into the originally received data packet until an additional retransmission (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) is correctly interpreted or a correct result is provided from the analysis of the combined symbols (K1, K2). At least one previously received retransmission (y1(t2), y1(t3)...) is taken into consideration when generating the combined symbols (K1, K2). |
