摘要 The present invention relates to a structure to prevent squeal noise of a disc brake pad and, more specifically, to a structure to prevent squeal noise of a disc brake pad, which reduces squeal noise generated by the horizontal vibration of a brake pad when a disc brake is operated. According to the present invention, a squeal prevention member is installed between a mounting end of the brake pad and a mounting part of a caliper to prevent the horizontal movement of the brake pad in a direction crossing a piston of the caliper, thereby reducing squeal noise caused by vibration when the brake is operated. Particularly, a damping core for forming the squeal prevention member is inserted between the mounting end and the mounting part together with a guide plate to adhere to the mounting end and to provide buffer power. Therefore, the present invention remarkably reduces the squeal noise of the brake pad as the horizontal vibration of the brake pad is effectively reduced.
