a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
identifying first characteristics of a first environment associated with the media device according to first sensory information;identifying second characteristics of a second environment of a source device according to descriptive information, wherein the source device provides media content;determining a difference between the first characteristics of the first environment and the second characteristics of the second environment;selecting a first adaptation to modify a presentation of the media content by the media device according to the difference;modifying the presentation of the media content according to the first adaptation to generate a first modified presentation of the media content;detecting a command;selecting a second adaptation according to the command; andmodifying the first modified presentation of the media content according to the second adaptation to generate a second modified presentation of the media content.
