A scanning head (24) for a coordinate measuring device (10) has a first scanning head part (34), on which a first changing interface (36) is arranged, which is designed to couple the scanning head to the coordinate measuring device. The first and the second axis lie askew in relation to each other. A first actuator (78) is designed to pivot the third scanning head part (44) about the second axis (62). This occurs by means of a push rod (74), which is coupled to the third scanning head part (44) at a lateral distance (D) from the second axis (62). The first actuator (78) moves the push rod (74) in a longitudinal direction (80) in order to pivot the third scanning head part (44) in relation to the second scanning head part (42).
