<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing a flavonoid obtained from a barley, a method for accumulating the flavonoid in the barley, and a production method of the flavonoid-containing composition. <P>SOLUTION: The flavonoid-containing composition contains at least one flavonoid obtained by extracting or grinding a fruit or stems and leaves of the barley which is a breed of barley to which a proanthocyanidin-free gene has been introduced, or obtained by further processing the obtained extract or ground product, and selected from dihydro tricine 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, dihydro tricine, chrysoeriol 7-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1→6)-β-D-glucopyranoside], chrysoeriol 7-O-β-D-glucopyranoside, and tricine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
