<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tank requiring small footprint and having high durability. <P>SOLUTION: The tank 1 includes: a housing part 2 having a hollow space 2h; and communication passages for allowing the inside and outside of the hollow space 2h of the housing part 2 to communicate with each other. The housing part 2 has: a pair of side walls 3, 3 expanded outward to be separated from each other and thereby to form the hollow space 2h; and a distance-keeping means 30 that restricts movement of the side walls 3, 3 in a direction separated from each other. Since the distance-keeping means 30 restricts the movement in the direction in which the side walls 3, 3 are separated from each other.
