The present invention relates to bedding for a newborn baby. Bedding for a newborn baby of the present invention includes: a cover unit which covers the body of the newborn baby; and a pressing unit which is installed at one side or both sides of the cover unit, and is filled with packing material to press the newborn baby. Further, the bedding for a newborn baby additionally includes a pair of thigh wearing members formed at the center of the bottom of the cover unit such that both legs of the newborn baby are inserted into the thigh wearing members to fix the new born baby to the bedding. Therefore, bedding for a newborn baby according to the present invention includes a pressing unit which is installed at both sides of the cover unit and is filled with the packing material to cover chest and abdomen of the newborn baby such that the pressing unit softly presses chest and abdomen of the newborn baby from both arms and both shoulders. Thus, the bedding has effects of preventing the newborn baby from being awoken while the newborn baby is moving his or her arms and legs limply during sleeping; and enabling the newborn baby to feel like getting a hug and have a good deep night′s sleep. Further, the bedding for a newborn baby according to the present invention additionally includes thigh wearing members formed at the bottom of the cover unit such that both thighs of the newborn baby are inserted into the thigh wearing members to fix the new born baby to the bedding. Thus, the bedding has effects of preventing temperature of the newborn baby from being dropped or having stomach trouble when the newborn baby kicks the bedding during sleeping; and preventing the newborn baby from being suffocated to death when the bedding is covered on the face of the newborn baby or while the newborn baby is sleeping on his or her stomach. |
