METHOD FOR FABRICATING LIGHT CONVERSION MEMBER, LIGHT CONVERSION MEMBER, AND DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME

An optical conversion member manufactured by a method for manufacturing the optical conversion member comprises a first unit substrate; a second unit substrate arranged to face the first unit substrate; a quantum dot storing member arranged between the first unit substrate and the second unit substrate, and sealing a space between the first unit substrate and the second unit substrate; and a quantum dot member arranged in the sealed space, and converting a received light into a white light. The method for manufacturing the optical conversion member comprises the following steps: forming multiple first grooves extended in the first direction, and multiple second grooves extended in the second direction perpendicularly crossing the first direction on the lower surface of a first substrate; forming multiple third grooves extended in the first direction and multiple fourth grooves extended in the second direction on the upper surface of the second substrate; forming first quantum dot storage members arranged inside first unit areas divided by the first and second grooves, and having a rectangular closed loop shape on the upper surface of a first mother substrate; forming second quantum dot storage members arranged inside second unit areas divided by the third and fourth grooves, and having a rectangular closed loop shape on the lower surface of a second mother substrate; forming a quantum dot member inside the first and second quantum dot storage members; laminating the first mother substrate and the second mother substrate by arranging the upper surface of the first mother substrate and the lower surface of the second mother substrate to face each other; connecting the first and second quantum dot storage members; and forming optical conversion members by cutting the first and second mother substrates along the first to fourth grooves. The purpose of the present invention is providing the method for manufacturing the optical conversion member forming a narrow bezel, the optical conversion member, and a display device comprising the same.
