Provided are an organic light emitting display device and a method for manufacturing the organic light emitting display device. An organic light emitting device is formed on a bottom substrate. A top substrate is arranged on the bottom substrate, and has a top cover and a side wall. The top cover is a portion of the top substrate, which faces the bottom substrate, and the side wall is a portion which is extended from the top cover toward the bottom substrate. The thickness of the side wall is thinner than the thickness of the top cover. A surface adhesion film is arranged between the top substrate and the bottom substrate, and bonds the bottom substrate to the top substrate. Also, the surface adhesion film seals the organic light emitting device. The side wall of the top substrate of the organic light emitting display device according to an embodiment of the present invention is extended toward the bottom substrate from an end of the cover, thus it can be minimized that the surface adhesion film is excessively elongated to invade a pad part or a scribing line. In addition, permeation of moisture and oxygen from a side part of the organic light emitting display device can be reduced by using the side wall. |
