<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow mounting work of a recording device for recording a piston stroke to be performed in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A vibration control damper 10 has a cylinder 20, a piston rod 30, a cover member 40, a first mounting part 50, a second mounting part 60 and a recording device 70. The recording device 70 has a recording plate 72 and a marking member 74, and records a displacement amount by relative displacement between the cover member 40 and the cylinder 20 due to piston reciprocation movement at the occurrence of an earthquake. The marking member 74 of the recording device 70 is supported at a substantially middle position of a bar-shaped support member 80 extended in the axial direction. The support member 80 is provided with, at its one end, a fixed part 82 fixed by a fastening member 90 at an edge of the cover member 40, and is provided with, at its other end, a sliding part 84 slidably supported by a guide member 100 fastened to the outer circumference of the cylinder 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
