Novelty: an electrostatic system meant for sound recording and sound reinforcement in stringed musical instruments is disclosed. Technical features: the invention is based on the electrostatic sound recording and sound reinforcement method, where the electric field created by electrically-charged strings (1) is detected in respect to the presence of one or more closely-situated electrodes (3) operating in pairs. Every change of the field due to the three-dimensional movement of the strings (1) is translated into electric signal created at the electrodes (3), which signal corresponds to the frequency of the sound and tone of the vibrating strings and, thereby, of the musical instruments themselves, while the differential signal reinforcement issued from the electrodes (3) contributes to the suppression of extraneous noises and interferences. Advantages: the invention is a low-weight, functional and self-sustaining system, non-intrusive to the musical instruments; it does not require any modification of the musical instruments, it has no sound feedback, it is not affected by external interferences and it is able to reinforce the sound conformity of the stringed musical instruments. |
