PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter control device which can safely stop an electric motor without generating an overcurrent in the electric motor and a power converter, even when an abnormality occurs in a position sensor, in a device which performs drive control of the electric motor by the power converter using the position sensor.SOLUTION: The power converter control device has: an abnormality detection section 9 which stops output of a PWM control section 11 to stop a PM motor 16 when an abnormality of a position sensor 17 is detected; a phase detection section 10 which generates phase information &thetas; on the basis of the sensor output from the position sensor 17; and a phase compensation section 8 having a compensation function which generates a phase signal &thetas;s on the basis of the phase information &thetas; and suppresses a fluctuation in the phase signal &thetas;s which is caused by external disturbance added to the phase information &thetas; due to the abnormality of the position sensor 17. |
