The method involves driving cylinder shaped tools (20.1) i.e. cylindrical miller, in order to displace the tools in rotation around a tool axis (WA), where the tools are designed with a cylinder shaped base body. One or five coordinated controlled axes are controlled such that a short linear section of a casing line of the tools is guided in production movement tangential along tooth flanks (11). The tools lift a material by rotation (R1) around the tool axis at the pre-fabricated tooth flanks such that production movement follows pre-determined movement vectors (E). |
