PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint cover device for a wall such that widths of cover plates positioned at both side parts of a center cover plate can be set relatively easily and safe and sufficient strength can be obtained by using an extension/contraction link mechanism capable of obtaining the sufficient strength.SOLUTION: A joint cover device for a wall comprises: an extension/contraction mechanism 7 having a center pivot part 6 having both ends pivoted on outer wall surfaces of right and left buildings 3; a center cover plate 9 which has its center part pivoted on the center pivot part 6 of the extension/contraction link mechanism 7, and covers a half of a joint part 2; both-side extension/contraction link mechanisms 11 each of which has a center pivot part 10 having both ends pivoted on an end of the center cover plate 9 and an outer wall surface; a slide cover plate 14 which has a rear end part pivoted on center pivot parts 10 of the both-side extension/contraction link mechanisms 11 such that a tip end overlaps the center cover plate 9 or an adjacent one in a slide movable state; and fixing cover plates 15 each of which has a rear end pivoted on an outer wall surface side of the both-side extension/contraction link mechanism 11 so that a tip end overlaps the slide cover plate 14 in a slide movable state. |
