The present invention relates to a polarizing plate and an optical display device comprising the same. The polarizing plate includes a polarizer, a first phase difference film which is formed in the lower part of the polarizer and has an in-plane phase difference value (Ro) of 180nm to 220nm in a wavelength of 550nm, and a second phase difference film which is formed in the lower part of the first phase difference film and has an in-plane phase difference value (Ro) of 50nm to 80nm in the wavelength of 550nm. The first phase difference film and the second phase difference film have a thickness-direction phase difference (Rth) of a plus or minus sign in the wavelength of 550nm.
