A shoe last 1 made of foamed plastic material e.g. polyurethane, has a longitudinally arranged hinge inset 2 of coarse fabric or a perforated, preferably elastic foil of plastic, and is provided with a wedgeshaped incision 4 and a flat incision 5 extending from opposite sides transversely of the insert. A fixing member 3 is provided. The last is urged to the extended condition by a spring 6 fixed on one side of the wedge-shaped cut and in a bore 7, closed by a plug 8, on the opposite side of the cut. |
