The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an automotive lamp comprising: a light source part which generates laser light; a phosphor which generates a light of predefined color excited by the laser light; a lens which irradiates to the outside the light passing the phosphor and has a reflecting surface which reflects part of the light on some portions of the circumferential face; at least one or more light receiving parts which receive reflected light by the reflected surface of the lens and output an output signal of the received light; and a control part which controls the current applied to the light source part in accordance with the output signal of the light receiving parts or controls an alarm signal to be generated, when abnormality occurs, by determining whether there is an abnormality. Accordingly, the overall configuration is simplified to improve assembly properties, manufacturing costs can be reduced, and safety can be secured as well by generating a constant amount of laser light. |
