The present invention relates to an apparatus for operating a damper of a draft pipe connected to the damper in a coke oven and opening and closing a curved pipe of the draft pipe. The apparatus comprises: a a link part connected to the damper, and rotated with the damper; a contact part coming in contact with an insertion car, and moved by the insertion car; a movable part connecting the link part and the contact part, and moved according to the movement of the contact part, and rotating the link part; and a link loading part connected to the link part and the damper, and when the link part is rotated, applying load to the link part according to the rotation direction of the link part. The apparatus for operating the damper of the draft pipe in the coke oven such as the same stably maintains the curved pipe part of the draft pipe to be opened and closed, especially closed by the damper, and is changed for the curved pipe part to be stably closed by the damper even if the closed state of the curved pipe part is changed by impurities. |
