<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket examination guide robot that speedily and carefully guides a user who cannot use an IC card well at an automatic ticket gate in an easy-to-understand fashion to take a re-touch action. <P>SOLUTION: A ticket examination guide robot 10 includes autonomous movement type device configurations (12, 43, and 44), a guide information providing unit (22), and a robot controller 41, and approaches an automatic ticket gate 31 to assist and support its ticket examining function when necessary. Further, the ticket examination guide robot includes a radio communication device 42 which transmits and receives information to and from a radio communication device 37 of the automatic ticket gate, an IC card reader writer, and an IC card processing device 45. If IC card processing incompletion occurs to the automatic ticket gate, the robot approaches the automatic ticket gate according to a dispatch command from the automatic ticket gate, and urges a user who is disabled to pass to put a user's IC card on the IC card reader writer through the guide information providing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
