<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a higher quality photographic image even if light reflected by a mirror box internal wall or the like is made incident on an image pickup element. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an image pickup element which has a plurality of pixels for photoelectric conversion of a subject image formed by a photographic optical system and in which each of the plurality of pixels has photoelectric converting parts of 2×2 or more arrayed in a plane where the subject image is formed; a focus detection part which performs focus detection in a phase difference detection method from signals obtained from the photoelectric converting parts; an image generation part which generates an image from the signals obtained from the photoelectric converting parts; and a reflection light detection part which detects the internally reflected light of the imaging apparatus as compared with the signals obtained from the photoelectric converting parts of 2×2 or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
