<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PET device having the high detection sensitivity and resolution of a radiation; and a radiation detector unit capable of materializing such a PET device. <P>SOLUTION: A PET device includes a radiation detector 10, and a radiation detector 20. The plurality of the detectors 10 are disposed on a circumference C1 about a specified line L0 so as to position phosphor layers on the inner side than light-receiving element layers. The plurality of the detectors 20 are disposed on a circumference C2 having a larger diameter than the circumference C1 so as to position phosphor layers on the inner side than light-receiving element layers. In the detectors 10 and 20 which are adjacent in a diametrical direction, the width of the phosphor layer of the detector 20 is larger than the width of the phosphor layer of the detector 10 in a tangential direction.
