<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a nozzle used for B/F separation is clogged by insoluble substances in an immunoassay technology including B/F separation processing. <P>SOLUTION: An immunoassay device includes a B/F separation part for cleaning an antigen or an antibody which has reacted to an antibody binding carrier or an antigen binding carrier inside a reaction vessel and an unreacted free antigen or free antibody and separating the unreacted free antigen or free antibody by sucking it by a suction part (nozzle), and the immunoassay device includes: in a preceding stage of the B/F separation part, a photometric part having a light emitting part for irradiating the reaction vessel with light and a light receiving part for measuring transmitted light of the reaction vessel; and an insoluble substance determination part for determining presence/absence of insoluble substances to be a cause of clogging of the suction part on the basis of received light intensity in the light receiving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
